 A Case Study
A Pune based IT giant with a Pan-India presence approached us with their training requirements for freshers on a continuous basis. We worked with this customer to understand their training needs for present and future requirements. It was made very clear during the first round of discussion that the target audience were going to be freshers and the objective of the program is to bring them into their mainstream operations by making them productive subsequent to the training. Though it was a one line statement, we could recognize the potential challenges on the first day of discussion. We started interacting with their talent transformation group and delivery heads of the department where these newly recruited candidates eventually would be placed.

After many back and forth interaction including telephonic discussions, physical meetings and many email exchanges, we chalked out a plan for the entire training program for the year. We understood that these freshers need to be trained on the basics and the advanced technologies that this company is into, which essentially means to train them on varied topics. Most importantly, a part of the training was related to embedded systems. During the discussions, we became aware that the customer doesn't have any training infrastructure in embedded systems.

We undertook this as a challenge and created a year long training schedule for this company and involved many trainers from our company with varied skills to deliver this training. Most importantly, we did setup the entire infrastructure including embedded hardware boards, JTAG debuggers and licensed copy of IDE's to successfully impart training to this customer of ours.

Though it was decided earlier that we would be imparting training in their Pune facility, it eventually became evident that the customer is extremely happy with our training services and gave us an opportunity to execute their training programs in Bangalore.
